ATTENTION ALL HAWKS PLAYERS, REP AND HOUSE LEAGUE
The Orillia Girls Hockey Association is pleased to once again be offering a 5-week Skills Development Clinic to all our players. This clinic will be free of charge for all players, representative and house league, currently registered with the OGHA. We are excited to announce Brady Leavold of BLeav Hockey will be returning for his 4th year as Head Instructor for the fall clinics. Brady’s playing career spans time in the ECHL and WHL where he played for the Swift Current Broncos and Kelowna Rockets and attended rookie camp with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Brady is also the founder of Puck Support, an organization dedicated to improving mental health and addiction issues in hockey. This will be Brady’s 7th clinic with our Hawks and we know first hand how great an experience for our players this will be.
For the U7/U9 group, the focus will be strictly on power skating and stride development. For the other groups, on-ice instruction will not only focus on skills and drills but also on understanding how the game is played and how to act and react to the fast pace of hockey.
The clinic will run on Sunday afternoons at the West Orillia Sports Complex in Orillia for 5 sessions starting Sunday September 8th and ending on October 20nd. There will be no clinic on September 22nd or October 13th.
Please contact Director of Development Pat Hayes at development@orilliagirlshockey.com with any questions and see the registration link to sign up today. Goaltenders, please see the separate information pertaining to the Goalies Only clinic running as well.
