Background Screening Requirements

Coaches, Executive and Staff:

All coaches and other bench staff, as well as executive members must have both a Criminal Record Check (CRC) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) completed.

CRC Process:

When you register for any of these positions in RAMP, you can file your CRC during registration process.

If you already have a copy of your CRC, you can upload it to your profile, and you're done!

If you don't already have a copy of your CRC (or you've never done one) you can apply for it for free during your registration.  You will then get form emailed to you that you can email to Registrar@OrilliaGirlsHockey.com, and we'll upload it to your profile for you.

VSS Process

This is not handled through RAMP.

Instead, head to this address:

https://www.opp.ca/index.php?id=147&lng=en

Before you do, you will want to fill out the VSS form which has been mailed to you, and have it ready to upload.

Finally, when you get your VSS approval by email, email it to Registrar@OrilliaGirlsHockey.com, and you're done!
