UPDATED May 7, 2024
Tryouts are just around the corner and Rep registrations on the RAMP portal for tryouts and pre-tryout clinics will open on March 19, 2024 (link below). Tryouts will begin May 5th and conclude May 19th. All tryouts are on the Rotary Green surface.
New this year will be our U9B Rep program. Registrations in our U7 and U9 programs have been strong and we are pleased to be in a position to offer U9 Rep for the 2024-25 season. This program will still follow all Hockey Canada and OWHA Guidelines and Pathways for U9 hockey but will offer a higher level of competition and development for those who are ready for the next level.
Also new this year will be a tryout for a U18A/BB. After team selections have concluded exhibition games will take place as well as on ice sessions prior to the season starting and if warranted the team may be moved up to A Division from BB. No confirmation on team categorization will be made at tryouts but efforts will be focused on the formation of an A team.
The OGHA Tryout Policy and Procedure is posted on the website and must be read and acknowledged by each participant as part of the registration process. You can see the policy here;
Any questions regarding tryouts or the formation of teams should be directed to the Director of Rep at rep@orilliagirlshockey.com

Registration Instructions
Tryout registration fee is $75.00 this year, which includes 4 clinics in April/May (see below).
No skater will be allowed on the ice (at clinic or tryout) until fees have been paid in full.
Returning this year will be a 4-week tryout clinic prior to tryouts taking place. The clinic will run Saturday's starting April 6th ending on May 4th. There is no clinic Saturday April 20th. Pre-tryout clinics will be for REP players/registered tryout participants only. Cost for the clinic is included in the tryout fee and will be up to each registrant whether they wish to participate or not in the clinic ice except for U9 and U11. For U9 and U11 age groups only the pre-clinic is mandatory as per Hockey Canada and OWHA Policy.
Brady Leavold from BLeav Hockey and Puck Support will run our tryout camps this April. He’s super excited to be back with us again.
Dan Spence and his crew of instructors from 360Goaltending will be back again to work with our goalies during the pre-tryout camp. Dan works individually with some of our REP teams and also ran a 6-week goaltending clinic with us last fall and can't wait to get back on the ice with our tryout hopefuls.
Here are the times for the clinics;
