Hi Folks!

Welcoming you back to another great season with the OGHA! We are excited to announce that we have many new initiatives underway for the 2022/2023 season. These are just a few...

Starting this month we will be releasing a Monthly Newsletter to keep everyone up to date.

We are also implementing new social media platforms to create a community that encourages development On AND Off the Ice. To become more involved, check out our social media platforms;

Twitter: Orillia_Hawks

Did you recently celebrate a Hat Trick? Did you recently win an award for being involved in the community? Were you Athlete of the Year at school? Did you win a science fair? SEND IT IN. We want to see what great things our Hawks can do!

We are always looking for more content, so feel free to send any pictures or videos, of your teams' or players', accomplishments, to communications@orilliagirlshockey.com

Practice Schedules:

As we are sure you are aware, the practice schedules have been quite a hurdle for this season. For the 2023 season, we have been allotted a 150-hour-shortfall in ice time. Please know, every large club in the city, and some surrounding cities, have been experiencing a similar set-back. We understand this set-back has created challenges for many young athletes in Simcoe County.

While we are still on the hunt for more ice time, it is unlikely that the schedule will change at this point. We understand that this is not ideal, and we are doing everything in our power to allow our young ladies to participate in an enjoyable season.

We have had numerous requests to change things, but due to the circumstances, unless there are 2 coaches who wish to switch specific ice times, we will be unable to offer any further scheduling changes at this time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in the matter. Should you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact us.
