On Saturday, the Ayers Plumbing and Heating Hawks took on the Caledon Coyotes at home for their second game of the weekend.  Caledon came out strong and started the scoring off early in the game but the Hawks battled back and tied the game 1 all.  Captain Cora Thomas, had the loan marker.

On Sunday, November 8th, the Hawks had a double header on the road, taking on the Orangeville Tigers and the Grand River Mustangs.  During the first game of the day, Orangeville came out battling hard and controlled the first period, but a stellar goaltending performance from McKenzie Poole kept the Hawks in the game.  After the first intermission, the Hawks got their wheels rolling and dominated the second and the third.  The Hawks scoring consisted of a beauty goal from Megan Cornick, a sweet goal from Thomas who walked in from the blue line and buried it and Trott also contributed 2 goals to the win.

The Hawks showed grit and perseverance, in the second game vs Grand River, coming back from a 3-2 deficit to take the game 5-3.  Grand River came out strong and it was back and forth scoring for the first half of the game.  Grand River was up 3-2 but the Hawks didn't give up and continued to put the puck in the net.  Goals went to Cora Thomas (1), Koral Pikulik (1), Emily King (1) and Katrina Trott (2).
