Ayers Plumbing and Heating Take Another Win
Submitted By jking on Monday, October 26, 2015
The Ayers Plumbing and Heating Orillia Hawks Pee Wee B Rep Team has started their 2015-2016 regular season undefeated.

After a 2-1 win a few weeks ago, the Ayers Plumbing and Heating Bantam B Rep Team played their second regular season game on Saturday, October 17th vs Wilmot Wolverines.  The girls started their first period off very strong spending most of their time in the offence zone.  Megan Cornick started off the scoring with a nice wrist shot to make the score 1-0.  Cora Thomas grabbed a loose puck and powered by their defence to get a break away and went five hole to poke the puck in making the score 2-1.  Katrina Trott finished off the 3rd period with a shot on net to make the score 3-1.  The 3rd period was a well fought period keeping Wilmot out of Orillia's end and McKenzie Poole played an amazing game in net!  Although a 3rd slashing penalty sent Katrina Trott to the dressing room for the rest of the game, the girls didn't let short handed play get to them and kept the score right where it was, finishing the game with a winning score of 3-1 over the Wilmot Wolverines.  Story credits for this game go to Assistant Captain Carly Davis.
