WHEN WILL THE SEASON SCHEDULE BE RELEASED?
The full season schedule, for October through March, will be released by the end of September if not earlier.

WILL HOUSE LEAGUE PLAY ON THANKSGIVING?
Most likely! The ice season is too short, and there are not enough weekends between October and March to complete our full regular season schedule if we don't play on Thanksgiving weekend. We will do our best to limit the number of games our Association will play but please be prepared to see a game scheduled during the Thanksgiving weekend.

WILL HOUSE LEAGUE PLAY DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SEASON?
Games may be scheduled up to and including December 23.
Games WILL NOT be scheduled between December 24 and January 1.
Games may resume starting January 2.

WILL OUR TEAM PLAY IN TOURNAMENTS?
House League teams can play a maximum of 3 tournaments per season that is including our annual tournament. Each team determines their own tournament schedule. Tournament registration fees are NOT included in registration fees. Each team will collect tournament registration fees directly from parents.

WHEN IS THE OGHA ANNUAL TOURNAMENT?
All House League teams in all divisions (except Novice) will be registered in the OGHA Annual tournament which runs from Friday, January 10 through Sunday, January 12. In accordance with OWHA rules, tournament schedules are released two weeks before the event. All teams should plan to play during the day, Friday, January 10.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE ARE MULTIPLE HAWKS TEAMS IN ONE DIVISION?
The Orillia Hawks and girl’s hockey in general are seeing an increase in girls playing hockey which has seen the OGHA ice multiple teams in the same division.  The association will run at least two evaluation sessions to rate the players and help keep our teams balanced fairly and competitive.   Evaluation sessions will be posted on the website and parents will also be emailed with the evaluation schedule.
