TENDER - Ice & Game Official Scheduler

The Orillia Girls Hockey Association is looking for an individual to assume the duties as listed below.  The term of this contracted position will be two (2) years and compensation will be negotiated.  Please submit all resumes to [email protected]

Duties of Ice & Game Official Scheduler

1) Act to ensure even (seasonal average) ice distribution as directed by the OGHA Executive Committee

2) Maintain master ice schedule, copy to coaches and Executive

3) Maintain awareness of ice rentals available in area arenas

4) Co-operate with OMHA (Orillia Minor Hockey Association) and other ice uses in ice exchanges

5) Ensure coaches are aware of ice schedule changes, trades and returns

6) Attend scheduling meetings as required

7) Train Timekeepers

8) Schedule certified Referees for all OGHA games, including tournaments

9) Schedule Timekeepers for all OGHA games, including tournaments

10) Submit reports to OGHA Treasurer for payment of Game Officials on a bi-weekly basis
