ORILLIA HAWKS SENIOR C LADIES TEAM WINS THE 2017 BARRIE SHARKFEST ON SUNDAY, NOV 19TH

The ladies went undefeated in the tournament winning the Championship Game 3-2.

In Game 1 the team defeated the Barrie Sharks Senior C team with a score of 5 – 2, goalie Gabby Mondelli in net.  Goals of the game were scored as follows: 1. Kayla Lacroix assisted by Brittney Bince;  2 -  Haylee Lawlor assisted by  Layne Lampshire;  3 – Jasper Thomson assisted by Laura Kennedy & Kayla Lacroix, 4 – Jasper Thomson unassisted and 5th goal by Carly marshall assisted by Mikayla Rae and Kayla Lacroix. 

Game 2 vs. Ennismore Eagles was the second victory for the team with final score of 4 - 1.  The goals scored by  1 Crystal Ferguson assisted by Jessi Cranney; 2 – Katie Zubrickas, assisted by Haylee Lawlor and Kayla Lacroix;  3 – Brittney Bince assisted by Danielle Jeffreys & Haylee Lawlor; Haylee L scored the final goal assisted by Jessi Cranney. Goalie Robin Root in net. 

Game 3 in the round robin was versus the Kirkland Lake Power Blast ended in a score of 7-0.  Goal 1 scored by Kayla LaCroix assisted by Betsy Maus & Layne Lampshire;  2- Carly Turner unassisted;  3 - Danielle Jeffreys, assisted by Katie Zubrickas & Jessi Cranney.  Goal 4 scored by Mikayla Rae assisted by Cora Shilling;  Goal 5 Katie Zubrickas unassisted.  Goal 6 was scored by Brittney Bince assisted by Haylee Lawlor and Betsy Maus.  The final goal  was scored by Crystal Ferguson unassisted.  The shutout goes to goalie Gaby Mondelli. 

Game 4 vs Huntsville Sting ended in a 1-1 tie.  Robin Root in net and solo goal scored by Carly Turner assisted by Katie Zubrickas and Crystal Ferguson.

            The championship game versus the Barrie Sharks ended in a 3-2 victory for the team.  Goal 1 scored by Jasper Thomson assisted by Kayla LaCroix and Cora Shilling.  Goal 2 scored by Katie Zubrickas assisted by Crystal Ferguson and Danielle Jeffreys and Goal 3 scored by Haylee Lawlor unassisted.  Goalie in net Gabby Mondelli.
