In a game against Vaughan at Rotary Place, the home team came out flying, scoring on its first shift, and never looked back as it handed the visitors a 9-0 defeat. Tienna Beck led the way, scoring two goals and adding three assists. Avery Lovering and Sarah Cardinell each had two goals and two assists, leading to a 13-point night for their line. Also scoring for the Hawks were Ashlin Baker, with two, and Hailey Steels, with one. Single assists went to Ella Copegog, Sarah Fagan, Rosa Cicinelli, Madison Marchildon, Emma Cordery and Katie Awrey.

Emily Vanderstelt earned her first rep shutout.

The Hawks then travelled to Georgina for their first road game of the season. After an outstanding save by Vanderstelt on the game’s opening rush, the visitors started to wear their opposition down and skated away with a 6-0 win. Vanderstelt earned her second shutout of the season. Point getters for Orillia were Cardinell, with four goals, Lovering, with four assists, Beck, with one goal, and Marchildon, with one goal. Assists went to Baker, Cordery, Madelyn Healy, Cicinelli, Cassie Dehinton and Mickayla Eaton.
