Players, coaches, officials and fans:

On Dec. 4, 2014, Hockey Canada turns 100.

We plan to spend the whole season celebrating and we want you to join us!

Even though it’s our birthday, we’ll be bringing the gifts, starting with this sticker commemorating our 100th anniversary. We want you to wear it on your helmet to show your pride in being a member of the Hockey Canada team. More than 700,000 players, coaches and officials will be wearing this logo during the 2014-15 season, including Canada’s National Junior Team, Canada’s National Women’s Team and Canada’s National Sledge Team.

We’ll also be taking our party on the road. The Century Tour will be criss-crossing the country starting July 1. Stop in when we come to your city and see 100 years worth of memories and mementos. Go to to see when we’ll be in your community.

Even if you can’t make it to one of our Century Tour stops, you can still celebrate with us. Visit to see how.

You can also join in the fun on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We’d love to see pictures and hear stories about your backyard rink, your first game or first goal, and your favourite hockey memory. Share your photos and stories with us using #CanadasGame.

This season promises to bring even more memories as we show our pride in the greatest Canadian tradition of all – hockey.

We’ll see you at the rink!

  • All teams that are representing Canada in international will wear the 100th Anniversary jersey and helmet sticker during the 2014-15 season.
  • At the national level, every team that is competing for a national championship will have the patch on their jersey and wear the helmet sticker.
  • At the grassroots level, Hockey Canada will distribute 700,000 stickers to minor hockey associations from coast to coast. The stickers are much more visible than the previous patch, as they are on the helmet, they last longer because children do not grow out of the helmet as quickly as pants or a jersey, and they are much easier to apply.

Watch for your sticker to be distributed soon!
