There’s Gold In St Thomas!
The 2nd Century Midget BB team collected top prize and won the gold medal last weekend at the Early Bird St Thomas Tournament. The Hawks were flying high from the first puck drop and never let up the entire tournament. Led by our Dynamic Duo of goaltenders who only allowed one (1) goal in five games, the girls posted victories of 4-0, 3-0, 3-0, a 1-1 tie and then a 2-0 victory over the host St Thomas team. The competition was tough but our girls were equal to the task and proved to be the superior team when it counted. A great weekend for bonding and team building, an excellent team effort all the way around. Well done girls, great start to the season.
Respect All and Fear None - was well represented this past weekend.
